Location

The Circle is located in the heart of Sheffield City Centre on Rockingham Lane, which runs between West Street and Division Street. 

The Circle is within easy walking distance of many major bus routes and approximately a 10 minute walk from the Train Station and Sheffield Interchange.  The Circle is very close to the Sheffield Supertram, which offers Park and Ride facilities, with the City Hall tram stop just 2 minutes walk away.  There is also plenty of nearby parking available around the city centre, and The Circle offers an on-site bike park.

On foot:

By cycle:
The Circle has an on-site bike park, holding up to 14 cycles, and also shower facilities which guests are welcome to use.

By train:
Exit the train station and walk up the path (with metal waterfall on your right hand side). Cross over the pedestrian crossing and walk straight up Howard Street, towards the Sheffield Hallam University main building. Bear right at the top and cross Arundel Gate (dual carriageway) at the pedestrian crossing, opposite the Millennium Galleries. Follow the ramped walkway up onto Surrey Street and continue, passing the Central Library on your right hand side and the Winter Gardens on your left.  After passing the Town Hall (on your left), cross over onto Barkers Pool and continue past the City Hall (on your right) up onto Division Street.  Rockingham Lane is the fourth street on your right (on the corner of Costa Coffee), and The Circle is on your right hand side.

By car:
From the M1 (North or South)
Leave at Junction 33 and follow the signs to Sheffield City Centre. On arrival at the Park Square roundabout, keep over to the right and take the fourth exit (opposite) towards the City Centre, with the Ponds Forge complex on your left. Continue up Commercial Street, bearing left onto Arundel Gate. Continue along Arundel Gate, passing the Crucible Theatre on your right, and Sheffield Hallam University buildings on your left.  At the roundabout, turn right into Furnival Gate.  Continue forwards and at the next roundabout take the second exit and follow the road round to your left (keeping in the right hand lane). At the traffic lights, turn right into Rockingham Street - there are car parks on both sides of Rockingham Street.  Once parked, walk up Rockingham Street, turn right onto Division Street and take your first left (by Costa Coffee) into Rockingham Lane.  The Circle is on your right hand side.

From the West
On reaching the inner ring road A61 (A6134), follow signs for the City Centre (A625) onto Charter Row.  Continue forwards (passing signs to City Centre car parks). Just before the roundabout, into Rockingham Street and continue forwards, passing through the traffic lights. There are car parks on both sides of the street.  Once parked, walk up Rockingham Street, turn right onto Division Street and take your first left (by Costa Coffee) into Rockingham Lane.  The Circle is on your right hand side.

By Sheffield Supertram:
As The Circle is just a 2 minute walk from the City Hall tram stop, we recommend visitors to use the Park and Ride facilities at Meadowhall, Sheffield Parkway or Malin Bridge.   Click here for more details and a journey planner.

When travelling from Meadowhall and Sheffield Parkway, alight at the City Hall stop.  Walk a little further up West Street, crossing Carver Street and passing the Walkabout pub on your left.  The next road on your left is Rockingham Lane.  Turn down Rockingham Lane, and The Circle is approximately 100m on your left.  
When travelling from Malin Bridge, alight at the City Hall stop.  Cross West Street, and back up West Street, crossing Carver Street and passing the Walkabout pub on your left.  The next road on your left is Rockingham Lane.  Turn down Rockingham Lane, and The Circle is approximately 100m on your left.

Accessibility

 The Circle has full wheelchair access with onsite disabled parking that can be booked in advance of a visit.

Wheelchair accessible WC's are provided on every floor.  All floors are fully accessible by means of a spacious lift and a fixed induction loop hearing system is provided in the main reception, Conference Suite and IT Suite.  Portable devices are available for use in other areas of the building.  To use, please book in advance.
